hello.
today i'm releasing the second public version of my game.
in a short and non-exhaustive manner:
- added:
- name your character, it may be used throughout the game.
- character customizer. play as yourself.
- in-game menu
- inventory
- exit button in the menu
- items in the apartment to pick up and inspect in the inventory
- removed
- text boxes around the apartment. those were mostly there to give you something to do when the game was more bare.
it's possible i forgot some.
the goal of the customization system is to allow the person playing to immerse into the world further. this game will have a lot of self-reflective themes, and these wouldn't those be more powerful if you were playing as yourself?
i'm really sorry i don't have any mac / linux releases. that's still the plan, but.. pyinstaller is very uncooperative...
the next update may be far off. i am going through a lot of changes in my life right now. i have big ambitions for what to add next. it will be okay, okay?
